What's the perfect witty reply?
Sophie is crazy about Jack. He has her number and has finally texted her, it says:
I like your new hairstyle
That's all it says! Jack and Sophie got pretty close physically and afterwards she gave him her number but he never called. Now, after several months they run into each other again. After a few awkward words she leaves then ten minutes later she gets this text.
Please help! She doesnt know what to send back

Flirting: Today's top tip and the definition of flirting
Today's Flirting Tip: Cherry Lip Gloss, (or something of a
similar colour, nothing frosty!) but don't apply it to your whole mouth,
just a smudge right in the middle of your bottom lip. It looks like
you might have just moistened your lip with the tip of your tongue
(which is a good bit of flirting body language but best avoided unless
you can make it look totally unplanned) and it also makes your lips look
plumper, which is alluring, and also a slightly darker colour which is a
physical signal that you are interested, he wont even know it but his
subconscious will register it. Try to apply it discretely with just a
quick dab of one finger as often as you can in the company of someone you
fancy. As long as they can't see you are putting on the gloss then even the act of doing it is sending the right signals because touching your mouth is yet another subconcious sign of interest.
Wiki says:
Flirting is a social and sometimes sexual activity involving verbal or written communication as well as body language by one person to another, suggesting an interest in a deeper relationship with the other person. In most cultures, it is socially disapproved for a person to make explicitly sexual advances, but indirect or suggestive advances (i.e., flirting) may at times be considered acceptable.
Actually it says loads more, but you get the general idea.
To me flirting is the best bit of any relationship. The build up. The anticipation. The months, weeks, days and moments before anything real happens at all.
I'm writing a book, well actually a trilogy of books, short easy fun reads, based totally on that bit of the relationship. The fickle will they wont they flirty bit. The does he/she like me or not really bit.
Flirting gives you such scope. The eye contact, the body language, the games you can play with each others minds, emotions and yes, even with each others bodies. A carefully timed touch can have much more effect than any witty comment.
If you think you might quite like a bit of flirting too then do follow my blog as I'm going to be covering all the topics in the title as well as giving some good tips I pick up on the way and also the trials and tribulations of writing (and researching of course ;-)) my stories on flirting.
